Eligibility

Athletes: Paid up members of Judo Ontario, other Provincial Associations and IJF-recognized Associations of other Countries. Competitors must present a current Judo Passport and a copy of their birth certificate.

Rules & Systems

Modified Double Elimination will be used.
Pragma will be used to determine draws.
Draws will be posted at Tournament Site once completed.
A minimum of 5 minutes of rest between matches will be given.
Golden Score will be applied in all divisions except Masters.
All competitors must have a minimum of 1 White and 1 Blue Gi.
Seeding will be based on 2007 Canadian Championships.
The no red zone rule will be applied.
Modified IJF Rules will be used.

Referee Eligibility

Referees: Paid up members of Judo Ontario, other Provincial
Associations and IJF-recognized Associations of other Countries.
To Referee, you must be Provincial A or higher.
Provincial B & C Referees are encouraged to run the electronic
scoreboards as a way of enhancing their grading.

Coaches, Officials and Volunteers Accreditation

Coaches, Officials, and Volunteers are encouraged to register on-line by rolling over the 'Organization' link to the left and then
selecting 'Accreditation'. You may pick up your accreditation at the
tournament headquarters between 4pm and 8pm on Friday or at the
tournament site on Saturday and Sunday.
Accreditation will also take place at the tournament headquarters (Delta
Meadowvale Resort) on Friday from 4pm to 8pm and on Saturday/Sunday
at the tournament site (Hershey Centre) from 8am to 12pm.
Entry into competition area will only be permitted with valid Coaching
accreditation. Only one coach per Athlete will be permitted on mat
side. Coaches' meeting will take place at Joseki at 8:30am at the
Hershey Centre.
